Race Categories

A Mile for Everyone

There will be 8 runs across a number of categories with spot prizes!

You can run in any category as long as you qualify, there are no limits to the number of Runs you can enter.

  •  Hilton 12 Years and under run (mixed)
    We encourage all children to get involved, get your school involved, run for your sports club or just come by yourself!
  • City of Darwin Youth run (13-18 yrs) (mixed)
    We encourage all teenagers to get involved, get your school involved, run for your sports club or just come by yourself!
  • Lottoland Defence and Services run (mixed)
    We are calling on our Defence and Services personnel including Police, Fire and Ambulance to test yourselves among your fellow mates. Show us who is the best in the NT!
  • Lottoland Masters run (mixed over 35) 
    For anyone over 35 years, and who want a bit more of a competitive field.
  • Donate Life Fancy Dress  run (mixed) 
    We encourage anyone who wants to have a go to enter, as long as you can run a mile! Dress up as a team or on your own for fun – show up your best costumes. Prizes for the best dressed judged by Northern Territory Celebrities
  • RFDS Open run (mixed)
    We encourage anyone who wants to have a go to enter, as long as you can run a mile! Did your kids already run, why don’t you join them again and do it as a family?
  • Lottoland Women’s Elite race
    If you think you fit the bill as an Elite runner by NT standards, then this is your race. Prize Money: There will be a cash prize for the participants who place 1st – 5th, ranging from $15,000 to $1,000, with $1,000 for the first Territorian across the line.
  • Lottoland Men’s Elite race
    If you think you fit the bill as an Elite runner by NT standards, then this is your race. Prize Money: There will be a cash prize for the participants who place 1st – 5th, ranging from $15,000 to $1,000, with $1,000 for the first Territorian across the line.

There is also the Darwin Family Law cycling criteriums.  Including 3 race categories;

  • 1:40pm – Men’s B Grade race (15min +1 lap)
  • 2:10pm – Women’s race (15min +1 lap)
  • 2:40pm – Men’s A Grade race (20min +1 lap)
